CHAPTER FIVE

The next morning, Gregor flung open the door and turned on the light.

"Hello, little bitch… How was your night?"

"Not very good. This cage is uncomfortable."

The Russian flipped the switch, and the cage came back down to the floor after Gregor kicked the pan out of the way. He opened the cage door and pulled a stiff and very sore James from inside, then took him over to the table.

"Bend over the table, or I'll secure you to it."

"Yes, sir," James mumbled.

The Russian walked over to the wall and took down a cane. He came back to where James waited.

"Please you promised no canes!"

"You are to be punished for failing to call me sir last night. I warned you that you would be punished this morning. You will take five strokes of the cane, but I won't use full force."

James turned his head and grabbed onto the edges of the table.

Five very fast strokes of the cane landed on James's ass, making James cry out in pain.

"There. Now imagine full force swings with the cane… That's what you're in for the next time you fail to address me correctly. Get dressed."

James stood up and walked to his clothes, then retrieved them out of the tray and put them on. When he was dressed, the Russian opened the door and said, "Get out. I'll call you when I want you again."

James left without even looking at the Russian, but as he walked down the hallway, he was searching with his eyes for anything that the agency could use. Nothing. He walked out the door and went down the street toward the tube station. When he was out of sight of the Russian's flat, a car pulled up and the rear door swung open.

"Get in!"

James jumped into the backseat and immediately regretted getting in so hard as his ass cried out.

"Are you all right?" Severs asked as the car sped away.

"No, I need a doctor."

"Knightsbridge Medical Center," Severs told the driver. "And be quick about it."

With that, the driver activated a siren and the grill lights and got their agent to medical care as quickly as possible.

One of the doctors who worked at that facility was on standby for any CIA or MI5 agents in need of care. When they arrived, they helped James into the facility, and when he asked for that doctor, the staff went into action. In less than three minutes, James was naked in bed, lying on his stomach as their doctor looked at the wounds from the cane. He also noticed the fading bruises that remained from the last encounter with the Russian.

When the cane marks were treated, the doctor reported to the section chief of the London office of the CIA.

"Your man has taken five good strokes of the cane on his ass. Now, I've seen far worse where both layers of skin were broken, which isn't the case here. Whatever he's doing to receive this kind of abuse, I would try to limit any further stress like this for at least a week.
